One Good Deed Inspires Another
The public service project of a Bar Mitzvah boy From Chappaqua includes the gift of music. It’s only fitting that he receive a gift of music in return.
The students of the Enrico Fermi School for the Performing Arts performed in concert as a thank you to Alex Greenzeig, a seventh grader at Seven Bridges Middle School in Chappaqua who presented the school with 21 musical instruments in preparation for his Bar Mitzvah. Many young people choose a service project to fulfill this coming of age ritual.
Alex’s choice is a natural. He is a professional actor and musician whose credits range from Law and Order SVU to Broadway Comes to Yonkers.
The Fermi choir, band and dancers performed for Alex in a musical thank you, then Alex returned the honor with a performance of his own.
The gift from Alex and his family includes 4 guitars, 5 trumpets, 5 clarinets, 6 flutes, a set of drums and a very memorable experience.
