Medical Kits Roll Off Assembly Line
(May 31, 2007) The Academy of Medical Professions at Gorton High School has been awarded an additional Learn and Serve America grant from the American Red Cross of Greater New York through the State Education Department to assemble and distribute 500 emergency kits. The kits will be distributed at the Academy’s awards program, the Board of Education meeting, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, and at the Yonkers Office of Emergency Management.
