A Celebration of Architectural Proportions
The ingenuity of design was cause for celebration at the Saunders Trades & Technical High School Annual Architecture Open House held Thursday, April 12, 2007. The event showcased the inventive final projects, including plans and models, of 10th, 11th and 12th grade students from both the Architecture and Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) programs. Emphasizing diversity in structure, the Architecture projects include designs for commercial facilities (seniors), residential houses (juniors), and county parks (sophomores). Focusing on a building’s setting and landscape, CFM students display designs for commercial sites (seniors) and golf holes (juniors).
The student projects were judged by architects and members of the AIA Westchester Mid-Hudson Chapter.
