Board of Education Meetings

Two Committes of the Yonkers Board of Education meet Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Both meetings will be WebCast live.

The Instructional Affairs Committee meets in the 4th floor Board Room at One Larkin Center beginning at 4:30pm.

The agenda for the meeting includes discussion about:  

• Superintendent’s Community Forums
• College Board School – 9/2008
• Montessori Middle/High School – 9/2008

Committee members are Dr. John Flynn, Chair; Mr. Trevor Bennett, Ms. Debra Martinez, and Mrs. Bernadette Dunne, ex officio.

The Audit, Budget & Finance Committee meets in the 4th floor Board Room at One Larkin Center beginning at 5:30pm.

The agenda for the meeting includes discussion about:  

• Chief Financial Officer
• Bennett Kielson
• Resolutions Review

Committee members are Rev. Gerald Sudick, Chair; Mr. Trevor Bennett, Mr. Marlin Wiggins and Mrs. Bernadette Dunne, ex officio.

Stated Meeting Wednesday, October 17

The Board will hold its Stated Meeting Wednesday, Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in the auditorium of Saunders Trades and Technical High School, 183 Palmer Road. Community Input is welcome at 7:00pm, and the Stated Meeting begins at 7:30. An agenda will be available online prior to the meeting. All are welcome to attend.
