Education Summit Inspires Collaboration

A groundbreaking Education Summit sponsored by Yonkers Partners in Education in association with the Yonkers Board of Education, attracted hundreds of business executives, community members, educators, parents, and elected officials to a new level of collaboration on behalf of the City’s public school students.

Following a keynote address by NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and remarks from Mayor Phillip A. Amicone, Board of Education President Bernadette Dunne, Superintendent Bernard P. Pierorazio, and ABC News President David Westin, attendees participated in breakout sessions to discuss and recommend ways to positively contribute to the school district.
