Code Pink: SHS Students Turning Heads for Breast Cancer Research

The coolest heads in town are showing off pink hair extensions woven for a cause by the cosmetology students at Saunders High School.

You can get this head turning "do" for a donation of $5.00 per strand during regular school hours throughout October, and at Saunders Open House, Thursday evening, October 18, 2007 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Every penny goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Saunders Trades and Technical High School cosmetology teachers Sylvia Baumeister, Dominick Cassano, Carmen Caramihai, and JoAnn Kingston are coordinating this unique fundraiser for a most worthy cause.
