Saying Thanks From Home

Mrs. Hart's and Ms. Hess' fourth grade students from Family School 32 made cards for the soldiers in Afghanistan to thank them for their service.

The students expressed their gratitude for keeping us safe and protecting Americans.

The students also tried to bring a little bit of "home" to the troops by writing about sports, television, and their favorite pastimes.

If that was not sweet enough, the cards were sent to Afghanistan with boxes of Girl Scout cookies donated by teachers from the school.
