After a brief summer break, school-building administrators began their year Monday, starting with the annual Summer Institute with Superintendent of Schools Bernard P. Pierorazio.  The challenges faced by the District did not eclipse the enthusiasm and determination to work as a team on behalf of every student - in fact, the commitment to excellence is stronger than ever.

The focus of the institute, held at Yonkers Middle/High School, was on the overall goals for the year, the development and implementation of proactive collaboration strategies, and leadership development.

Faculty, staff and administrators will welcome students back to school Tuesday, September 6th.
