New Trustees Take Oath of Office

(June 20, 2012) Mr. John Jacono and Dr. Nader Sayegh took the oath of office as Trustees of the Yonkers Board of Education, and officially began their terms of service to the children of our City Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Both were appointed by Mayor Mike Spano.

The Yonkers Board of Education is the official policy making body of the School District. The Trustees are appointed by the Mayor and serve without pay. Their time, energy and expertise are voluntary.
