Mrs. Lisa C. Perito

Lisa C. Perito was appointed to the Board in May 2004 for a five-year term. She chairs the Personnel & Community Affairs Committee, is a member of the Superintendent’s Evaluation and Instructional Affairs Committees, and serves as alternate liaison to the Yonkers Chamber of Commerce.

A lifelong Yonkers resident, Mrs. Perito is a graduate of Roosevelt High School. As a tireless advocate for children and an active participant in educational issues, she has focused on raising student achievement and increasing parental involvement.

She is active in the Paideia School 15 PTA where she was a founding member, president and board member, and has been a driving force behind many fund-raising activities that directly benefited the school community.

Mrs. Perito is a self-employed medical transcription consultant, with a professional background in health care and human resources. Throughout the years, she has held positions with large corporations.

An enthusiastic member of her parish, she serves as Assistant Catechist in the religious education program. Mrs. Perito and her husband Russell have two children.
