Contract for Excellence
The 2007-2008 New York State budget provides the Yonkers Public Schools with $7,600,000 in funding to implement a Contract for Excellence. The Contract for Excellence is an agreement between the District and the State of New York that specifies a series of targeted initiatives proposed by the District and endorsed by the State which are designed to improve student achievement.
