Parents Note
After three (3) consecutive meal charges,
meaning, receiving a meal without having a lunch card/without name on the list or paying for the meal:
- Any student who does not present
a lunch card or money to pay for lunch,
will receive an alternate lunch of either a peanut butter& jelly or a cheese sandwich, fruit or vegetable & milk.

The Yonkers Public Schools participates in the United States Department of Agriculture National School Lunch Program for qualifying students. The program was established under the National School Lunch Act, signed by President Harry Truman in 1946.
