Internet Safety

Controlling your family's online experience at home is among parentings new and bigger challenges.

Educating ourselves about the Internet -- its wonders and its dangers, is a crucial step in educating and protecting our children from inappropriate content and contact.

Acceptable Use at Home
In exchange for access to the Internet at school, every student is required to understand and observe the District's Acceptable Use Policy. Families should have one at home too.

The Westchester County Executive and District Attorney collaborated on an excellent brochure Keeping it Safe: Nine Important Steps to Internet Safety. Please read it as well as the other resources listed to the right.
