- Students pledge themselves to a code of hard work and consistent effort
- Multiple Intelligences philosophy builds on students’ strengths in the exploration and discovery of the world of science
- The philosophy of the Science and Engineering magnet is to ensure that students become ethical thinkers and problem solvers who excel in competitive academic environments
- Early readiness program in prekindergarten and kindergarten develops students’ natural scientific curiosity and offers hands-on engineering activities
- Parents as Partners Program embraces parents as active members with teachers and administrators in their child’s success
- Science lab enables students to study and explore how things work in areas like aerospace, living environment, marine and mechanical engineering, and to invent tools that make life easier, healthier, and safer
- Students explore their surrounding environment and creatively design and build projects with their peers using math, science, reading, and communication skills
- Intell-Ex Program provides students with the opportunity to solve real world problems using technology and the scientific process, supported by science and engineering materials and resources
