Ninth Grade Academy
- Teams of approximately 100 students taught by core area teachers using interdisciplinary instruction and flexible scheduling

- Students are introduced to Technological, Occupational and Vocational Sciences for spring program selection
Technological Sciences Academy
- Students must meet academic entrance requirements in math and science. Instruction is geared towards preparing students for Advanced Placement examinations. (* Denotes that physics is a required course)
- Architecture Technology * - emphasizes working drawings, construction, structural detailing, rendering and computer-aided design and drafting
- Construction and Facilities Management – incorporates architecture, engineering construction, surveying, landscape design, estimating and facilities management
- Biological and Environmental Technology* - introduces advanced biology and analytical chemistry as it applies to environmental issues
- Chemical Technology* - combines analytical and organic chemistry with field experiences
- Computerized Industrial Design* - teaches techniques in computer aided drafting, manufacturing, numerical control programming and automated robotic work-cell programming
- Electronic and Computer Circuitry* - provides a background in pre-engineering for electronics
Occupational Sciences Academy
- Students will be able to enter the work force upon graduation or continue with post-secondary education
- Cosmetology provides training in all procedures needed to take the New York State practical and written licensing exam and includes a minimum of 1200 hours of hands on experiences, as well as related art and science
- Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management focuses on food preparation, presentation, baking techniques, safety, sanitation, nutrition and dining room service
- Fashion Design emphasizes the art of clothing design, assembling, fitting and finishing, pattern making, related arts, textile science and computer assisted design
- Graphic Communications teaches an array of professional graphic applications, page layout and design and visual aesthetics while preparing students for careers in the graphic/printing and visual communication industries
Vocational Sciences Academy
- Students are prepared to enter the workforce upon graduation or enroll in post-secondary technical programs. (**Denotes a national certification exit exam required for students)
- Automatic Heating/Air Conditioning** provides technical knowledge and practical experiences for residential and commercial buildings. Instruction includes environmental science and welding. National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers
- Automotive Technology** provides training in computerized and manual troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles. A cooperative field experience under master technicians is an integral part of studies along with environmental science and welding. National Automotive Training Education Foundation
- Carpentry – instruction encompasses fundamental wood-working, construction of concrete forms, framing, stair-building and blueprint reading for residential and commercial buildings
