WDMC, the award winning educational channel of the Yonkers Public Schools, can now be seen on Verizon FiOS Channel 38 in addition to Cablevision Channel 75. Yonkers residents can watch news, features, educational programming and "YPS Update en Español", the companion to "YPS Update", the popular late afternoon news show that celebrates the people, places and events of Yonkers Public Schools.
Working Papers
The Yonkers Public Schools issues working papers to youngsters 14 to 17 years-of-age on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Working papers are obtained at the Health Services Department located at One Larkin Center in Yonkers.
Summer hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
A student should contact the school nurse for necessary materials. Proof of age and an application signed by a parent/legal guardian are required. A school physician will perform the required physical examination if no proof of physical exam is submitted. Immunization status must be in compliance with New York State Law.

Student Assistance Services - education, prevention and intervention services related to alcohol and other drugs
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), Nepperhan Community Center and the YMCA also provide intervention services
Health Education (K-12) - combining health education, drug and alcohol prevention education and AIDS education
