Welcome/Welcome Back! Riverside Students and Families

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. My name is Mr. Casimiro and I will be your SPED 10th Grade teacher this year! I teach a 15-1-1 SPED Class, the goal of which is to ensure all the students in my class receive the support they deserve. Ms. Velasquez, the Teaching Assistant, will assist me in providing support to your child.

While this year is my 1st year of teaching, I've been in the Yonkers Public School system my entire life. From Elementary School (School 5) to High School (Lincoln HS), Yonkers is in my blood. I'm committed to providing YOU/YOUR child with a quality education using evidence-based practices and support while preparing them to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
