Dr. Sharroky Hollie, Executive Director of the Center for Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning, is the second guest for the Superintendent’s Distinguished Speaker Series on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. The session will be approximately 90 minutes and includes time for questions from the audience.

The Overall Mission/Goal at Kahlil Gibran School is for All Students to Value Their Education.
The staff and parents of the Kahlil Gibran Elementary School are committed to establishing a safe, positive environment for learning. Our curricula will reflect a diversity of cultures to enhance the development of each student, which will be accomplished through our Literary Curriculum.
Our expectations for academic excellence are high. Students are taught in a challenging environment that encourages creativity, participation, and involvement. This philosophy is enhanced through positive open lines of communication with each child, parent, teacher and school administrators. Higher order thinking is encouraged to ensure each child's future success.
