Hello Boys and Girls,
I hope you are all staying healthy and active at home. Please remember to go to my teacher page for weekly PE assignments. These assignments need to be emailed back to me each week. If you are having trouble or have any questions feel free to email me. My teacher page is located under the teacher tab on the Cesar Chavez website. My name is listed under “Sher-Collazo Valerie”. I look forward to hearing from all of you. Have fun and keep moving!!
Since March 16, due to all schools being closed because of COVID-19, continuity of instruction for Yonkers Public Schools students is accomplished through Distance Learning. We know that this will continue through April 29, and we must be prepared should we need to remain closed beyond that date.
Students, it is extremely important for you to complete all assigned work and maintain a log of work completed as evidence to verify your grades. The Student Work Log for Distance Learning captures all of the student’s completed assignments. The form is available on every school’s webpage and on the Distance Learning website.
Use the Student Work Log for Distance Learning to keep track of the work you have completed during the time we are Distance Learning. On the form list the date, content area and the assignment completed.
Attention: ALL of the following courses are graduation requirements.
Content Areas: English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Science, Social Studies, Art/Music, Physical Education (PE), Health, Foreign Language, Electives, Related Services
