• As part of our School Comprehensive Educational Plan, the following are our Four Commitments to continuous student achievement:

    Commitment #1: Reduce chronic absenteeism

Chronic absenteeism undermines our mission to provide every student with a quality education and equitable opportunities for growth and achievement. Our goal is to improve upon our 93% attendance rate from last year. The health and safety of our students remains our top priority. We have implemented updated protocols to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Commitment #2: Teaching and learning that will establish grade level consistency

Through professional development at the school and district levels, our focus is to increase student engagement and develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills through Inquiry-Based Learning and Project-Based Learning. Our continued investment in technology will provide students with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

    Commitment #3: Data driven culture

We strive to create a culture that supports the needs of students to decrease the achievement gap and ensure academic success for all students. Through the use of Personalized, Active, and Collaborative Learning all stakeholders will become empowered with the necessary tools and information to make informed decisions that address the unique needs of each student.

Commitment #4: Recognizing and showcasing the diverse cultures and backgrounds of our students

Classroom teachers will create instructional lessons related to making personal connections to students’ lives. Students will be active participants in learning about future opportunities through exploration of career and college readiness.
