In this course students will expand their ability to read, write, and learn vocabulary skills. In literacy instruction students will develop foundational skills in reading and writing, reading complex texts, speaking and writing using text evidence and learn the writing process. This course is aligned to the New York State Next Generation English Arts Learning standards.
