In this course students will learn about the Eastern Hemisphere and all the important events that took place in history. This curriculum is aligned with the NYS Standards and the Common Core Standards. There will be connections made to engage NY.  Students will learn about the following units: 

Unit 1: Neolitic Revolution 

Unit 2: River Valley Civilizations 

Unit 3: Classical Civilizations 

Unit 4: Comparative World Religions 

Unit 5: Mediterranean World 

Unit 6: Interactions across the Eastern Hemisphere
