Hola Familias!

My name is Ms. Ochoa and I am your child’s Third Grade Teacher! I am very excited to get to know you and your child this year! I was born and raised in New York City, specifically in Washington Heights and the Bronx.  I received my Master of Arts in Bilingual/Bicultural Childhood Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to attending graduate school, I studied Spanish Literature and Psychology at Hunter College, earning my Bachelor of Arts. I have extensive experience teaching children at the early childhood, elementary, and middle school levels in bilingual settings. In my free time, I love to travel and do photography. Nací y crecí en la ciudad de Nueva York, específicamente en Washington Heights y el Bronx. Recibí mi Maestría en Educación Bilingüe en Teachers College, Columbia University. También estudié Literatura Española y Psicología en Hunter College, donde obtuve mi Licenciatura.
