OCTOBER/NOVEMBER: Review Mood in literature; Using Graphic Organizers to improve note-taking skills; Review Text Structure; articles on refugees, finding safety, and belonging to a community. Themes taking a journey, survival etc. Introduction of class novel. Novel Study (Reading done in class). Due November 6th-Poetry Assignment (Specific Classes will be notified about assignment; this is not for everyone). Please see assignments tab for more information.
