Mr. Leonard is in his 3rd year of teaching and his first year in Yonkers Public Schools. He studied history at George Washington University and received his M.A. from Teachers College in 2021. Before teaching, Mr. Leonard worked in immigration law in New York City.

Should your student need to access materials, they are posted on Schoology by the end of the week. They are broken down by unit folders. Please ensure you are in the correct folder and accessing the appropriate materials. Additionally, the textbook for our class, "American Stories" by National Geographic. Each class (7th and 8th grade) will use the same book. However, the 7th grade work starts at the beginning of the text while the 8th grade work starts at Reconstruction. This text is posted online and is available in the classroom.
