Ms. Mazzullo's Pre-K

  • Dear Parents,

I am very excited about working with you and your child this school year. Please check our homepage for any special notices throughout the year. Do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. My email is emazzullo@yonkerspublicschools.org

****If there is any change in transportation for your child please let me know via email, written note or calling the school at (914) 376-8565. Let me know as soon as possible because your child's safety is our utmost concern. Please make sure if you are not picking up your child that the adult picking up your child is on the emergency dismissal form. I also need to know in writing which alternate adult is allowed. If you are bringing your child to school allow extra time. Parking can be a challenge. If your child is a pickup please be prompt. The door to Classroom 4, which is facing the playground, will be open at 3:00 for dismissal.

Please send in all classroom supplies. You can drop them off at the back door. If your child is a bus student you may bring in the supplies a little at a time. If your child has a bus bracelet or a bracelet on their bookbag please do not remove because it assists school staff.

Clothing- Send in an extra set of clothes including socks and underwear labeled with your child's name that will be stored in their cubby.

Snack-Send in a heathy snack daily for your child. I have a classroom refrigerator if necessary. Students will be having snack in the afternoon. Lunch is 11:15-11:45. Recess is 11:45-12:15. If your child has a lunchbox or water thermos, please clearly label it.

Bookbag-Children should bring to school a bookbag that fits their folder every day. The bookbag and folder should be clearly labeled and checked daily.

Rest Time-A small blanket can be left at school for rest time. The children are given mats that they will be resting on. The cubbies do not have room for large blankets. Please make sure if you choose to bring a blanket, it is a small blanket. No toys or stuffed animals are allowed at school. The blankets will be sent home on Fridays to be cleaned. Return them the following school day.

I encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I am very much looking forward to working with you and your child this school year.

    All the best,

    Ms. Mazzullo
