Dr. Rachel Pagano

Hi, I'm Dr. Pagano, the 7th/8th grade ELA teacher at Cedar Place.  I look forward to helping your child grow to his/her fullest potential as reader, as a writer -- and hopefully as a human being!  This is my tenth year in the Yonkers school district, and I am passionate about what I do.  It is truly my privilege to be able to serve your family and community.  Contact me whenever you like!

Grading policy:  Homework is given in ELA on a nightly basis.  Homework counts for a full 25% of your child's grade!  Essay grades, project grades, and quiz/test grades count for 50% of your child's grade.  The remaining 25% of your child's grade is based on classwork:  This includes attitude, effort, and output.
