I am excited that we are all together, learning in person this year!

I am aiming to provide a nurturing, caring and rigorous learning environment for your children and I am looking forward tto working with you to attain this goal.

A few important items for you:

I will be communicating with you via the ClassDojo app. This communication platform will be for us to communicate with each other. I will use this platform to send messages, reminders and anything of importance. You can also use this app to message me with your concerns, questions and also for sending absent notes. Should you need to speak with me, please reach out using ClassDojo.

Mary Flower

I was born in Yonkers and attended Yonkers Public Schools. I am an alumni of PS 14 (Siragusa), Mark Twain Middle School (YMA) and Lincoln High School. I attended Mercy College and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After working in New York City of 5 years, I realized my real calling was teaching. I returned to school at Long Island University and received a Master of Science in Early Elementary Education. I began working in the Yonkers Public Schools in 1991. I also have received a Master of Science in School Building Administration. I am currently teaching Kindergarten but have also taught Pre-K, First Grade and Third Grade at Paideia School 24.
