Welcome Studio Art and College Link Art students!  My name is Janet Skydel you can call me Mrs. Skydel.  This is my 14th year teaching in Yonkers and 5th year at Roosevelt.  I am so excited to have you in my class.  As a lifelong visual artist I love to paint and draw!  Art is my way of expressing my feeling about the world around me, it gives my life purpose.  Let my class be a safe space during this pandemic for emotional release, meditaton to calm your mind, a place to explore your imagination.  Let it also be a safe space to take on challenges with grace! I look forward to learning more about your artistic visions and aspirations & my hope is that this year you will grow, explore, & develop new skills as an artist.
