I later received training in teaching through the New York City Teaching Fellows program, and I completed my master's degree in special eduation at St. John's University. This is my seventh year of teaching, and this is my second full year at Roosevelt High School.
In my teaching career I have taught in self-contained, co-teach, and resource room settings. Currently, I am a proud member of Roosevelt High School's A-team, the teachers and providers that serve Roosevelt's autistic population.
While school is shut down, our speech, occupational, and physical therapists are still hard at work to provide services for our special needs students.
We will be posting activities from our service providers here during the shut down.
Please contact me if you have any questions about the activities, or how to do them with your student.
A new assignment has been posted! If your student Has completed the work already provided, please go to the assignment page for an online assignment.
The online assignment involves reading, watching a video, and answering questions.
If you have any questions or technical difficulties, please contact me at any time.
