Extended Closing Information
As per district policy, the art program will be using Teams as a platform to upload all artwork for credit/grading. Each class has their individual Art Team.
I recommend that everyone uploads all assignments (even if students do come to school) so that they have a digital portfolio of their work. However, if I do see a student in person, I can also grade the actual project.
TO UPLOAD IMAGES OF ARTWORK ON THE CLASS ART TEAMS:
-Take a picture of artwork
-Edit the picture in your photos so that there is no background showing
If you need to get the picture from your phone to a computer you can email it to yourself, download it from your email to your desktop or just drag it on your desktop.
(Skip this step if you are using your phone to upload your assignment)
-Go to your class Art Team_NOT THE GENERAL CHAT OR THE CLASS CHAT
-Clik on assignments and select the correct assignment
-Click on the paperclip
-Select the picture file (The photo of your work)
-Click Upload or Share (depending on your device)
Voila!u-I will return the work with a grade and it can be viewed anytime
6/13-TAKE A MINUTE TO VIEW THE OPEN HOUSE POWERPOINT FOR THE ARTPROGRAM UNDER THE "ASSIGNMENT TAB". THANK YOU!
**6/5 All students that have opted for the blended learning option need to keep their artwork in a folder, supplies in a ziplock bag, both in their bookbags. Most classes have art twice a week and students need to be able to continue working on their art project whether at home or in the building.
**All art projects have to be submitted in the class art Team for credit/grading, under the students account. Please do not drop the work in the chat, it is not possible to keep track of the student's work there in an orderly fashion.
