Dear Families,

I hope you are all doing well! I know that it has been difficult being away from school and your friends. We have worked so hard this year and I know that you will continue to work hard as we adjust to this new way of learning!

I understand that each student has different goals, objectives, levels, and modifications needed.  I am happy to work closely with each of you to tailor as much as possible for your unique child.  I understand that sometimes the assignment that is posted may need to be adapted, or may need you to support them for their unique needs.  In order to do this, we will need to have regular contact.

Please email me once you've completed an activity to give me some feedback regarding your child's performance and so we can tailor activities for your unique child and situation.

Please see the Availability/Office Hours tab for my daily availability.  I understand this is a short window of time.  Please know that you can e-mail anytime and I will do my best to answer as soon as possible.  Please reach out with any questions!

My email is jscaringella@yonkerspublicschools.org

Click on Assignments to view a variety of assignments you should complete with your child.

It is important to practice speech and language skills every day, even though your child's mandate may be once, twice, or three times per week.

I will include activities which you can complete in your every day routine.

Please reach out to me if you would like ideas for how to address your child's goals during different activities, or if I can help to tailor anything to your unique family situation, as we each certainly have very unique situations right now!

Sending each and every one of my students hugs during this time!
