CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You made it to the last week of Distant Learning in 2nd Grade!!!!
Families, you have done an amazing job! I could not have survived this without your patience and perseverance. Thank you!
· Please continue to read every day this summer to build your fluency and comprehension. Participate in the Yonkers Public Library summer reading program, READsquared. You can register and find out more information here http://yplny02.readsquared.com/
· Keep a summer journal to be sure that your writing skills stay sharp! Decorate a notebook and write down all the things that you do and experience this summer.
· Practice your math facts daily! A fun way is to make your own flashcards by cutting paper or using index cards.
You will still have access to many of the apps on Clever. Please continue to use them throughout the summer.
Our last day is Thursday, June 18th. Assignments will be available on Seesaw and in the individual assignments tabs on my webpage.
I hope you are all doing well! I know that it has been difficult being away from school and your friends. We have worked so hard this year and I know that you will continue to work hard as we adjust to this new way of learning!
