Again, I would like to congratulate students and parents for the awesome job they are doing with distance learning We are down to about 20 students who are still having a difficult time with getting online.   If you received a loaner laptop from the YPS and are still unable to submit work, please call your child's teacher so that we may assist.

Remember, once completed  student work must be submitted to the teacher to receive credit.

Laptop returns will begin on June 15th.  You will be notified of a day and time to come to the building to return the loaner and collect your child's belongings that were in left in the classroom.

Please look at the banner on the home page of our website.  Adult supports that are offered at VIVE School can be found there.

We are happy with the increasing numbers of students participating in online learning. It is my hope that we will be at over 90% participation next week.
Please continue to help your students stay on a schedule while working at home.
None of the work has to be overwhelming, they just need to keep a steady pace.
Know that we miss you and are looking forward to the time where we can be together again.
Have a good weekend and stay safe.

  • 6 Weeks Completed

Posted by JOANN DIMARIA on 4/24/2020 8:00:00 AM

    Hi there, Museum School 25,

As we draw to the close of our 6th week of distance learning I wish to thank you for the effort you have invested in our learning community. The students, parents and teachers are becoming better at working in our new classrooms each passing week.

Maybe more important is the humanity that forces itself to the surface now that we are living in a digital world. I have had many heartfelt conversations on the phone with many of you, students too. This amount of concern for well-being of mind and body, family and friends has served to make many more things possible.

Thank you all for being who you are and doing all that you do. We are stronger for this. Have a good weekend.

  • So Important

Posted by JOANN DIMARIA on 4/14/2020 7:30:00 AM

My purpose in writing this blog is to provide a sense of encouragement to our learning community, both emotionally and academically.

I have to share that the most encouraging words I have yet to come across were not the ones that I wrote, rather they were from our parents and teachers.

We are all working in isolation in our homes, so it is difficult to gauge the impact of our work.   The messages that I received serve to keep the energy levels high and the communication and learning going.  So thank you for letting me know how you feel.

Stay well and stay strong.  And keep writing back!

  • We are All Learning

Posted by JOANN DIMARIA on 4/9/2020 7:00:00 AM

    Good morning Learning Community

As always, it is my prayer that all are safe and well.

As time passes, we are learning new ways to improve this distance learning process.   We have lost and will continue to lose more time from our classrooms.   I truly miss the ability to stop by and visit each of you and watch learning as it happens.

But as that is not possible at this time it is critical that the students continue to complete the activities posted by their teachers and record their completed work on the form posted on the District pages. These are available in English and Spanish by clicking on this link:

Please email me or your teacher with any questions or concerns.

    Stay well and stay strong,

    Ms. DiMaria

  • A Week of Virtual Field Trips

Posted by JOANN DIMARIA on 4/6/2020 7:45:00 AM

Good morning Museum School 25 Family,

I hope that all are well and staying strong.

I want you to know that you have an amazing group of teachers who are working together even though they are in their own homes.

They have created a week of field trips in which you can participate.   Grade 4 made a beautiful game for you to play as well.

They are trying their very best to keep learning fun and exciting.  Make sure to complete the assignments and send them pictures of your work.

Please stay safe and continue social distancing!
