WHY BECOME A MEMBER OF THE PULASKI PTA?

A portion of the Membership funds goes back to each classroom. The remainder of the funds are remitted to the NYS PTA. All are welcome to become members - parents, grandparents, teachers, staff and friends. The Pulaski PTA's mission is to advocate for a sound basic education for our children. This is even more important during these unprecedented times. Throughout the year, we support our classrooms and staff with activities, materials and programs. The PTA communicates via email, flyers, website, , Twitter and Facebook. PTA Meetings are held every other month and we report on the meetings held by the Yonkers Council of PTA/PTSAs. We encourage parents to attend the Yonkers Public Schools public meetings which are posted on their page.

The Casmir Pulaski PTA is a member of the National PTA. It is under the umbrella of the Yonkers Council of PTAs and the Westchester East Putnam Region-PTA. All of these organizations are dedicated to improving and expanding educational opportunities for children and public education by working with families, the community and businesses. PTA is first and foremost an advocacy group in all areas of our children's education. Therefore, the Casimir Pulaski PTA actively participates in letter writing campaigns, emails, and rallies in order to obtain sustainable education funding from State and Local officials.

The Casimir Pulaski PTA holds events throughout the year that bring our families together. We schedule enrichment programs for our students throughout the year. Parents are welcome to volunteer at our various events. We would like to thank everyone who has supported the PTA in the past by becoming a member and volunteering their time. Pulaski is very lucky to have many involved parents, teachers and staff because it keeps our organization strong.
