We hope you and your family members are safe.

We are encouraging students and families to “Return to Learn” to take advantage of in-person learning. See the photo above in our gallery for further details on how you can send your child back to school.
- I will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Zoom this Tuesday night. The English session is at 5:00 and the Spanish session is at 6:15. There will be a Zoom link on our website on Monday.
- First Grade Dual Language Teacher Ms. Serrano will provide a parent workshop on reading with your child.

- The schedule:
- Wednesday, January 13: Benchmark grades K – 6
- Wednesday, January 27: DataMate grades K-6
- Wednesday, February 3: Makeups
- These tests are to help teachers best serve your child’s needs. The testing results will help teachers determine where there are gaps and where students are achieving at their grade level. This information will help teachers make decision on specific areas that It is very important that parents/guardians do not assist their child with the answers. Thank you for your support!
- The schedule:
- Congratulations to the students who have submitted their Holiday Ownership of Learning Log. Thank you! If you have not done so, please send your teacher or myself (ebeglane@yonkerspublicschools.org) a photo of the completed log so we can reward the children for their effort (a book, certificate, and Takis).
We recognize and understand the challenges that our students, parents/guardians, teachers, and aides have been facing. Mrs. DesSoye and I greatly appreciate everyone efforts.
Please email me at ebeglane@yonkerspublicschools.org if I can be of assistance.
Stay safe and keep the faith!

Dr. Beglane
