Adult Learners Have a Pathway to Success
Do you want to learn job skills, improve your English language skills or earn your high school equivalency diploma? The Vive School – Yonkers Pathways to Success can help, with no cost to you!
This fall, Yonkers Pathways to Success is offering these classes free of charge to Yonkers residents:
- High School Equivalency Preparation Program (TASC formally GED)
- National External Diploma Program (NEDP, Yonkers residency not required)
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Microcomputer Applications
- Cooking/Culinary Arts
- Facilities Management
- Retail Sales
- Home Health Aid
Registration locations and schedule:
The Vive School, 75 Riverdale Avenue
- TASC (formally GED) must attend two days: August 22 & 23 or August 24 & 25 at 9:00 a.m.
- English for Speakers of Other Languages and Occupational Training: any day, August 22 through August 25 at 9:00 a.m.
PEARLS/Hawthorne School, 350 Hawthorne Avenue
- TASC (formally GED) must attend both days: August 22 & 23 at 5:45 p.m.
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Occupational Training: August 22 or 23 at 5:45 p.m.
Saunders Trades and Technical High School, 183 Palmer Road
- TASC (formally GED) must attend both days: August 29 & 30 at 5:45 p.m.
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Occupational Training: August 29 or 30 at 5:45 p.m.
Enrico Fermi School, 27 Poplar Street
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL): September 20 or 21 at 5:45 p.m.
