For the second year in a row, Mr. Curtis’s 4th grade class is participating in the Stock Market Game. This year, 5th-grade students are joining the regional competitions since they were the Wall Street pioneers last year. From January 30 to April 21, cooperative teams use a virtual $100,000 to buy a portfolio of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds they manage through the game’s online portal. The goal at the end of the completion is to be the team with the most profitable portfolio. The Stock Market Game’s highly engaging platform will help our students build a fundamental understanding of investing while providing them with real-world-skills practice in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Economics, Social Studies, and other subjects. Good luck investors!
