PTSA Membership Appeal

How Can you help the YMHS PTSA?

When teachers and administrators are involved, together we help strengthen communication between families and schools. Please join the YMHS PTSA. Membership is our only ask, volunteer hours are not required.

How Can the YMHS PTSA Help Teachers?

Membership in PTA is not limited to just parents. Teachers play a vital role in a child's education. Each new member strengthens the ability of our regional and statewide PTA to advocate for policies and programs that benefit our students.

Events like PTSA Teacher Appreciation Week is just one way PTSA celebrates and supports teachers. We also provide program funding! The YMHS PTSA uses membership funds and fundraising dollars to help teachers fund classroom enrichment programs and help pay for trips and programs. Become a member and submit a proposal today!

On January 11, 2020, the PTSA helped fund the Italian Club’s annual pilgrimage to NYC to learn more about the immigration experience and Italian culture. Any PTSA teacher who is a member can submit a funding proposal.
