Superintendent Aníbal Soler Jr. opened the event in partnership with the Center for Open Data Enterprise (CODE), We-Collab, and Bloomberg Associates, the consultancy of the Michael R. Bloomberg Foundation, whose support is guiding this equity-driven data initiative.

Leaders from education, workforce development, health, public safety, community organizations, advocacy and philanthropy convened at the Yonkers Riverfront Library in November for a workshop dedicated to developing an Equity Intelligence Platform (EIP) to help the District better understand student needs and improve outcomes for all, especially boys and young men of color.

The session underscored a shared commitment to advancing the six MBK Yonkers milestones and reviewed progress to date. It explored how improved data use, transparency, and cross-sector collaboration can strengthen community services.
