7th GRADE SUPPLY LIST

One 5 Subject notebook or  binder

1 Folder

1 highlighter

At least 3 pens (blue or black)

1 combination lock

Hand sanitizer, hand soap, tissues, Lysol wipes or paper towels (optional)

 * You may also want to purchase a copy of the book We Beat the Street as we will be reading it in class. These school copies are not permitted to go home.

 8th GRADE SUPPLY LIST

One 5 Subject notebook or binder

1 highlighter
At least 3 pens (blue or black)
1 colored pen (ex. purple, green etc.)
1 combination lock
Optional: Hand sanitizer, tissues, Lysol wipes, hand soap or paper towels
* You may also want to purchase copies of the books To Kill a Mockingbird, Mississippi Trial 1955 and The Outsiders as we will be studying them in class. These school copies are not permitted to go home.

 (2) Notebooks- Spiral (Labeled: Notes) one for 1st semester and one for 2nd semester   If you wish to use a three subject note book instead that is fine. Or if you wish to use a binder and page spacers that will work as well. Once we get fully established with Schoology we will be able to communicate and ask and answer questions there.  Otherwise, please email me: jepprecht@yonkerspublicschools.org for anything that you may have questions with.

 

Additional Required Supplies (Thank you in advance for helping with the class supplies.  I understand its not always easy, but to help keep the room as ready for the students as possible, it goes a long way.)

  1.  (4) Packs of Pens (Black or Blue Only) These will be needed all year, so a constant supply will be needed, or your child can purchase them in class.

  2. (4) Pencils pack (not Staples brand-they break easily) These will be needed all year, so a constant supply will be needed, or your child can purchase them in class.

  3. (2) Packets of Colored Pencils/Crayons These are a must have.  Please be ready to have them every day.  We use them for maps and other projects.  Better to have them and not need them, then to not have them and need them

  4. (4) Highlighters

  5. (4) Boxes of Tissues (per student) for class use

  6.  A LOCK FOR YOUR LOCKER
