Extended School Year Program

Power has been restored at Yonkers Montessori Academy. The Extended School Year (ESY) program will run as normally scheduled tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16th.

EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM AT YMA CANCELED TODAY, TUESDAY, JULY 15, 2025

Due to the inclement weather resulting in a power outage at Yonkers Montessori Academy, the Extended School Year (ESY) program has been canceled for today, Tuesday, July 15th.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Further updates regarding the status of the program will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.

Citywide observance commemorating the men and women who died in service to our nation will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, May 26 at Veterans Memorial Plaza 40 South Broadway. Please join us.

The Yonkers Public Schools Arts Expo returns to the Riverfront Library Atrium during Yonkers Arts Weekend on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18. Featuring student work curated by the arts faculty, it will take your breath away. Do not miss!

Please take a moment to read and familiarize yourself with the dates so that you can best support your child on test taking days.
