Yonkers Public Schools, in collaboration with Yonkers Partners in Education (YPIE) and with support from the Westchester Board of Legislators, is hosting the annual Fall College Fair for district high school students on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Yonkers Middle High School, 150 Rockland Avenue, Yonkers, New York.
Students and their parents/guardians will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of representatives from a number of colleges and universities. Seniors can also make an appointment to get help completing their FAFSAs (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
5:00 PM-6:30 PM: 11th & 12th Grade Students
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: 9th & 10th Grade Students

Who should attend this meeting?
All YPS Seniors who intend to enroll in college fall 2026
Parent or parents who will contribute information to the your FAFSA (see handout to determine which of your parents should attend)
If your parent cannot attend , YPIE will only be able to help you complete the student portion of the FAFSA.
FSA ID:
Every student applicant and parent who is contributing information (including parents without social security numbers) must have a FSA ID. Find out how to create a FSA ID here https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch
Documents Needed:
Bring these documents to your appointment:
Copies of 2024 tax documents for federal government and NYS (1040 and IT-201 forms)
W-2 form(s) and 1099 forms
FSA ID created in advance (remember your password!)
Value of any assets:
Balance of checking and savings accounts (student/parent)
Balance of any brokerage accounts
NYS ID – Driver’s license or State ID (not permit). This is needed to complete NYS aid (TAP)
Students and contributors will need to know their Social Security Numbers
