Our 8th grade students visited the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City for a powerful and meaningful learning experience. Students took part in a guided tour, deepened their understanding of the events of September 11, and reflected on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience shown on that day.
During the visit, our students also honored the memory of Joseph Hasson, brother of our own Mr. Hasson, who lost his life on 9/11 while serving as a firefighter. We are grateful for the opportunity to remember his bravery and the bravery of so many first responders that day.
