Greetings Parents of School 21.
I hope that by now you have all received a letter from me detailing the BOE decision to close School 21.
As promised, I am keeping you informed of the process as it relates to your child's School Assignment. The Board of Education and I are developing a process to help families with the school selection process. Soon, School 21 families will be provided opportunity to select a school for next year. Coming home soon will be a flier outlining the procedures for doing so.
If you have any questions, please call our school at 914-376-8435. My staff will be able to describe the process and provide you with the most updated information. You can also email me at bgray@yonkerspublicschools.org
Thank you and have a good night.

We value the strong partnership between our school and our families and appreciate your continued support in promoting student success. Clear communication and shared responsibility are essential to ensuring that all students remain engaged and on track academically.
Please be advised that Monday, March 30, 2026, and Tuesday, March 31, 2026, will be designated Remote Instruction Days for all students. During these days, instruction and attendance requirements will be completed remotely.
To support successful participation on these Remote Instruction Days, please review the following Student/Parent/Guardian Responsibilities:
Complete the Microsoft Attendance MS Form provided by your child’s teacher between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM on each Remote Instruction Day to ensure accurate attendance.
Contact your child’s teacher if assistance or clarification is needed regarding attendance, assignments, or technology access.
Ensure that all assigned work is completed and submitted according to teacher expectations and deadlines.
Your cooperation in meeting these responsibilities helps us maintain a productive learning environment and supports our commitment to high academic standards. Should you have any questions or need additional support, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or the school office.
