Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! We are excited to open our doors and begin another successful year together.
Opening Day Details – Wednesday, September 3, 2025
- Classes begin promptly at 7:45 AM.
- All 9th grade students will report to the Auditorium.
- Students in Grades 10–12 will report directly to their assigned magnet rooms (see schedule, it was emailed and is also on the website MENU --> DOCUMENTS).
After the opening activities, we will resume our normal schedule starting second period.
We wish you a happy and restful weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday as we kick off a great year ahead.

Fall Sports Tryouts begin this Saturday August 23 with Yonkers Brave Football.
All other Fall Sports tryouts begin on Monday August 25.
As a reminder, only students who have been cleared through Final Forms are eligible to participate.

You'll get a chance to meet your Grade's Assistant Principal, Mr. Angelo Petrino, and counselor, Ms. Annie Talone. Students will have a chance to tour the building with current Seniors. Parents will have a group Q&A with the Principal.

EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM AT YMA CANCELED TODAY, TUESDAY, JULY 15, 2025
Due to the inclement weather resulting in a power outage at Yonkers Montessori Academy, the Extended School Year (ESY) program has been canceled for today, Tuesday, July 15th.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Further updates regarding the status of the program will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
