Hello Yonkers Public Schools Community,
We are excited to again partner with the Yonkers Public Library (YPL)! For the Summer Reading 2025 initiative “Color Our World”, Yonkers Public Schools (YPS) is providing grade level recommended titles, nonfiction themes, bookmarks, and book logs. The reading challenge ends on September 15, 2025.
Steps for the Summer Reading 2025 Challenge:
1. See the YPS grade level recommended booklists and create a Beanstack account with YPL using the following QR code:
2. Over the summer, students may log their books for the challenge using the QR code to sign up or use the physical paper book logs available at all YPL Branches, locations listed below:

3. Students, by September 15, return completed logs/total count of books read for the Summer Reading challenge to your new classroom teacher or ELA teacher to be counted as part of the summer reading challenge for school campus prizes and parties! Enjoy!
