The Unified Yonkers Track Team delivered an outstanding performance at the recent League Championship Meet at Rockland Community College, showcasing skill, determination, and teamwork across competitions.
Girls Team Highlights
The girls team turned in an impressive series of performances:
55-meter dash: Sahnii Padgett-Johnson placed 3rd
300 meters: Mya Campbell finished 2nd
1500 meters: Leiana Barrios earned 3rd place
High Jump: Marilyn Agyapon placed 3rd
Long Jump: Sahnii Padgett-Johnson captured 1st place
1500 racewalk: Daniela Quishpi, Iman Abass, and Kiera Cleveland finished 4th, 5th, and 6th, respectively
Relay teams also stood out:
4x200: Jeniah Chung, Estrella Hernandez, Jaycel Benique, and Mya Campbell:
