As we approach the end of the school year, please review the important information below regarding High School Final Assessments and New York State Regents Examinations taking place in June 2026.
Final Assessments
June 5–16, 2026
Final assessments will be given during regular class periods.
Students will continue to follow a normal 8‑period daily schedule.
Assessments will cover all subject areas, including ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, World Languages, and electives.
June 16 is designated as a make‑up day.
Regents Examinations
June 9–26, 2026
Regents exams will be administered at 8:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., depending on the subject.
Exams include English Language Arts, Algebra I & II, Global History, U.S. History & Government, Living Environment, Chemistry, Earth Science, and World Language Checkpoints.
Important Dates to Note
June 19, 2026: No school – Juneteenth Holiday
June 25, 2026: YMA High School Graduation at 3:30 p.m.
June 26, 2026: Rating Day
