Yonkers Public Schools is pleased to offer the Multilingual Scholars Summer Academy (SIFE Academy), a free summer program designed to support current Multilingual Learners (MLLs) in grades K–8, including students with interrupted formal education backgrounds.
The program will run from July 6 through July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Eugenio Maria De Hostos Microsociety School, located at 75 Morris Street, Yonkers, NY 10705.
Students will be immersed in literacy development through the arts, including visual arts, digital arts, dance, and hands-on, project-based learning. The academy focuses on strengthening reading, writing, speaking, listening, and math skills while supporting English language development in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment.
Transportation is available for eligible students, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
